Real life New York wedding with Roz la Kelin bride Sofia did not miss a New York beat. Adorning with landmark backdrops, white winter tones and fabulous fashion, this wedding captures NYC Upper East Side style.
Wearing Zsa Zsa from the diamond collection Sofia says “The dress purchase evolved into something for Javier – less about me – I wanted him to see me, and be completely blown away – he totally was."
"He cried and shrieked that he could not believe his eyes. Zsa Zsa totally took his breath away. He was overwhelmed with love and awe. I felt beautiful. I felt glamorous."
"I felt like I owned NYC that day – and I was the girl in town that everyone was here to see. I know this dress was a part of that feeling – and It was so memorable for me."
"I added a small jeweled belt just to tie the entire look together – and it was flawless. A timeless gown that showed off my curves and made me feel so confident and secure...
I love Zsa Zsa!”
The New York City location was just one of the star features of this wedding, at Battery Gardens, NYC.
"We chose this location because of its iconic structures – and also because of its beauty."
"We got married in January and it was cold – but the contrast of buildings to glam was evident – it was the perfect backdrop for our love."
Quintessential NYC at its best.
“The bridesmaids wore Black Badgley Mischka Peplum dresses with incredible statement jewelry to differentiate them all.”
“The theme was Manhattan Glamour. Generally, I wear black white and nude colors – so that palette was naturally attractive to us.”
“The flowers were the wow moment. We had thousands of white stems and flowers all around the entire venue. We made sure that we didn’t do much color to throw off the balance of winter – so its uniformly white all around. Candle light provided a ton of accent – and also a few sparkles as well. We had tea lights adorning white blooming quince branches and mercury glass as metallic accents to pull it all together. I have never seen such a beautiful display.”
“We loved the idea of a “”naked”” cake – we needed to be different – and this surely was. Were not big on sweets – so we wanted a big TASTE factor – our cake was apple pie flavored to keep with the Manhattan thematic – and it was a huge hit!”
